Overview
Lenox Township and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) have partnered to plan for the future of Wetzel State Recreation Area (WSRA). The team is working with Birchler Arroyo Associates, Inc. to create a General Management Plan. The plan will identify recreational, educational and land preservation goals for WSRA to be accomplished over the next twenty years. Goals are based on the community's recreation and programming needs, as well as WSRA's land capacity and unique features, such as the wetland mitigation areas.
